Meet the new sewer connection team below:
Name: Dan Hudson
Position: Managing Director & Lead Engineer
Experience: 20 years working in the industry
Qualifications: Confined Space Training, WRAS Accreditied-GW4402, Street Works Accredited-SWQR 23179075.
About Dan: Dan is the director of Below Ground Solutions and likes to keep have a hands on approach when it comes to work. He has over 20 years experience of working in the water and drainage industry. He is the first point of contact for our customers and is happy to discuss and explain anything you need.
Name: Lee Woods
Position: Director/ Contracts Manager
Experience: 17 years in the drainage and water industry
Qualifications: Street Works Accredited, confined space trained.
About Lee: Lee has been with Below Ground Solutions since its incorporation in 2017, lee quickly showed himself as a key team member within the company and is an integral part of the business. He is always happy to help and go the extra mile for both the BGS team and our customers. As well as visiting clients and assessing works he also looks after our new sewer connection department. As part of the Street Works team he has built up great relationships with both the water authority and the local councils to ensure trust, professionalism and all health and safety matters are adhered to and never compromised. This includes completing all applications to council and water authorities. His ability to plan and coordinate works are too a high standard which means the works happen as they should with out any surprises. Lee also is a specialist in off main drainage systems, he is quickly able to diagnose if a system is performing as it should in a compliant way and offer advise and solutions for any upgrades or remedial attention required. As part of BGS he is recommended to many of our clients from the tank suppliers themselves because of his wealth of knowledge and hands on approach to installations and after care including servicing and repairs. Lee was appointed as a Director within BGS in 2022 and we are extremely proud and happy to have him as part of the business.
Name: Lewis Harding
Position: Supervisor
Experience: 13 years in the industry
Qualifications: Confined Space Training, Street Works Accredited
About Lewis: Like most of our engineers Lewis has been with us from day one, allowing us to grow together and think as one and work to our high standards. Lewis is a supervisor within BGS and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise within the drainage and water sector. He is Street Works Accredited allowing him to work on public roads and footways. Lewis is a senior point of contact for our team and is a front of house face meeting clients and conducting pre work surveys and assessments for BGS. A loyal member of BGS in which we are very please to have on board.
Name: Luke Steele
Position: Engineer
Experience: 10 years in the industry
Qualifications: Street Works Accredited
About Luke: Luke has been working along side Dan Hudson for many years, having previously spent many years working for ANSA Utilities. Luke is based in our Wokingham yard allowing him to operate across the South East including London. Luke has progressed through the company taking on many new projects. Luke is fully licenced to carry out works on the public roadways.
