New Sewer Connection Complete in Royston, Hertfordshire

Report:  Our customer made contact with our new sewer connection team with an urgent situation as she needed to connect her new build house to the public sewer and had been let down by her previous contractor. Our new connection team swiftly made the application to the council and got the ball rolling on the new connection process. Our lead engineer carried out a site visit to obtain information and to explain the ongoing application to the customer. Once all road opening licences had been obtained we returned to site to under take the works. The works themselves took 5 days to complete, our street works team completing the reinstatement to highways standard. Once the works were complete our customer gave us the below feedback:

We surrounded the pipe in shingle before we back filled and reinstated. 

The tarmac reinstatement was made to approved standards.
